Parve
Ingredients:
1 Head of Cauliflower, cut into florets
4 Potatoes, cut into chunks
1 Onion, diced
1 Tablespoon Fresh Ginger, minced (may use paste)
4 Cloves Garlic, minced
Salt to taste (I used 1 3/4 Teaspoons)
1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric
2 1/2 Teaspoons Ground Cumin
2 1/2 Teaspoons Ground Coriander
1 1/2 Teaspoons Garam Masala
Cayenne Pepper to taste
1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
Cilantro
Instructions:
Heat oil. Add onion, ginger and garlic. Cook until onions look translucent.
Add potatoes. Cover to cook. When potatoes are 3/4 cooked, add cauliflower, turmeric and salt. Cover to cook.
Add the remainder of the dry spices. Adjust salt and cayenne to taste. Garnish with cilantro prior to serving.
